Join us for a relaxing and fun day of sewing anytime we are open! Sew all day at the shop for $5. Includes free help if needed! Bring your projects and come ready for quilting fun! Please sign up by the preceding Wednesday.
The last Friday and/or Saturday of every month is Block-of-the-Month Day! Anyone currently working on a block-of-the-month purchased at The Crazy Quilter is eligible to come sew for the day. Use this day to stay on track with your BOM projects! Sign-up by the preceding Wednesday. No charge with any BOM purchase, come as often as you like on the last Friday or Saturday of every month!
I will offer any class upon request. Minimum 3 people, you request a class and we'll provide it! Must schedule at least 2 weeks in advance. Put your requests in now!
Class Policies
• Classes are limited to space on hand. Sign up early to guarantee your spot.
• Payment for class fee is required at sign-up. Fee is non-refundable within one week of class date.
• A sewing machine in good working order, scissors, thread, and fabric supplies are required for class. A limited number of shop sewing machines are available, so request one early if needed!
• You will be given a supply list upon payment for each class you enroll in.
• Class materials and patterns are 10% off with a paid class session! Please consider purchasing any supplies you may not already have from me when taking your class. I often order specific items especially for class, based on enrollment, and I fully appreciate your business. The 10% discount makes my prices very competitive, and picking up your complete kit at class is very convenient and ensures you won't forget anything.
• Most if not all class projects will be on display in the store. I have also linked the class listing with the project whenever possible. All classes are geared toward a confident beginner level. We assume you are familiar with rotary cutting and general sewing technique. If not, please consider requesting a beginning quilting class series! Feel free to call the store at 208-877-1214 with any questions.
Summer 2010 Class Schedule
Wednesday, June 16th, 1-4pm, Quilt as You Go Runner, $45 for class, pattern, and supplies for completed runner: Using a pattern by G.E. designs, we will teach you the easy quilt-as-you-go technique. Finish your projects faster and quilt while you piece! This class will give you the skills to move on to any other quilt as you go project with confidence and ease.
Thursday, June 17th, 1-4pm or 6-9pm, Easy Curved Piecing using die-cut apple-cores, $32 for class, apple core packet, and coordinating backing: Never be scared of curved piecing again! Learn how to piece curves with ease using our die-cut apple cores. Put together one packet for a tablerunner, or make yours into a quilt by simply adding more packets!
Saturday, June 19th, 10am-3pm, Charisma Boot Workshop, $60 for class, reusable pattern, and fabric supplies for one pair of Charisma Boots. Join me for a fun filled Saturday, and take home your new favorite slippers! These comfy, cozy slippers are made to be both durable and fun. Pattern includes childrens up to womens' size 10 shoe. Please visit the shop at least one week before class to pick up supplies and instructions for preparing for this class.
Saturday, June 26th, **FREE!** English Paper Piecing Demo: Join me at 11am, for about 30 minutes, on Saturday, June 26th, to learn how to quickly and easily use precut papers to make English Paper Piecing a breeze! This demo is strongly suggested if you will be attending the Saturday, July 10th, Pin Cushion class!
Wednesday, June 30th, 1-4pm, Blue Sky Sun Hat. Approximately $40 for class, reusable pattern, and fabric supplies to make one hat.

Wednesday, July 7, 1-4pm, Easy Fusible Applique. Approximately $30 for class and all supplies. Applique is everywhere these days! Don't miss out on making some fabulous projects because it seems scary. Spend an afternoon learning tips and tricks to make fusible applique super simple! Learn how to use heat-n-bond to make applique a breeze.
Thursday, July 8, 1-4pm or 6-9pm, Moda Advent Calendar, $50 for class, Pattern, and all materials. It's Christmas in July! Join me in making a unique and fun advent banner for the holidays.
Saturday, July 10th, 10am-12pm, English Paper Pieced Pin Cushion, $35 for class and supplies: Make this fantastically large and unique pin cushion using precut kits from Moda! Uses English Paper Piecing methods and traditional sewing to create a one of a kind addition to your sewing room! Kit includes enough fabrics to make up to 4 total pin cushions. Class includes kit, plus stuffing and papers to make one entire pin cushion. Bow Tie Pillow, Wednesday, August 25th, 1-4pm, $35-$40 for class, pattern, and all supplies for 1 pillow Learn how to make custom pillows for your home!
